Sufi Poetry | English translation
In these lines the poet wants to explain that a saint Loves God very much and does not fall in the trap of the devil or any critical situation. The Qalandar (saint) is like a star the destiny of the Qalandar is to stay high in the sky of belief and shine and it does not lost its shine and power of belief even if it is trapped. The literal meaning of the second two verses is ” All the rivers fall in the sea but the sea never falls in the river.”
Meaning there by that the Saint only loves Allah very much and stay in the deep meditations, he does not have any interest in the Dunya (World, benefits of the world which ends with the depart of the soul from the body). Rivers come to sea to complete themselves, not the sea goes to the rivers to complete itself
